Lulu's Fitness Journey

Lulu trained with one of our trainers three times per week. Her sessions consisted of a mix of cardio and weightlifting exercises. In addition, she made sure to stay active on her days off from the gym by going for walks and spinning classes. As for her nutrition, she followed a healthy and balanced diet high in protein and low in simple carbs.

Lulu's confidence in her trainer went up within just a few personal training sessions, and she immediately started getting weight loss and muscle gain results. Despite training a bit less frequently, Lulu quickly got rid of 2kg of unwanted body fat and managed to tone her body.

She was worried about lifting heavy weights as she did not want to bulk up. Still, after her trainer assured her that muscle building is a slow process and that it would not lead to her gaining weight if her nutrition were on point, she finally understood the process better and trusted her training plan.

We started Lulu at 1500 calories, keeping in mind that she would have flexible weekends filled with family and friend outings where she would indulge in her favorite foods and drinks. She would not track her calories and macros during the weekends, so we kept her diet strict during the 5-weekdays.

Only in the last 3-weeks of her journey did we drop her calories down to 1200 calories/daily, which gave us the push we needed to lock in a fantastic transformation just under 8-weeks!

Lulu's macro split was a moderate one:

35% protein

35% fats

30% carbs
